A Note on This Beer
Today’s beer makes me think of a bunch of mad scientists in a laboratory, laughing maniacally as they reanimate some depraved abomination to showcase their evil genius.
Maybe I’m letting my imagination run away with me, but just one sip of today’s Black Science 4.0 has me convinced that the folks at Adroit Theory have gone mad with brewing power.
They’ve blended not one, not two, but THREE different beers to brew this powerful potion!
Adroit expertly combines Aged Barleywine, Stout, and a Belgian Quad in a cuvée style — a blending term usually reserved for fine wines. Then, they bottle-condition it with Cubano roast coffee, hazelnuts, toasted coconut, and bourbon aged honey.
As if that wasn’t enough, this marvel of scientific achievement comes with a massive 15% ABV!
You’ll definitely want to get your hands on the thick, sophisticated concoction that fans call “way too easy drinking for 15%.” The lucky few who’ve tried it since it’s recent release have already rated it an astronomical 4.50 on Untappd!
So, grab a bottle to share with your buddy, or sip it slowly out of a goblet while you dream up your own genius invention — goodness knows it’ll make you feel powerful enough!
