About This Beer
To craft this super tangy, berry-filled sipper, Matchless began with a base of their year-old, foudre-aged Sour Blonde Ale. Then they aged it for a second year — this time with loads of juicy local blackberries.
Tasting Notes
Brambleberry tones come through in each sip as layers of ripe, sour, and jammy fruit, balanced by oaky spice and leather. And over that, bright aromas of Meyer lemon and shortbread cookies accent the subtly funky Ale.

hated it. period
I'll be completely clear I'm finishing it so that I do waste my money but believe I will not order this again.
it's sooooooo offensively sour and tart without any safe happy place for the taste buds to retreat too, couple that with the oaky chardonnay notes as it finishes and my tongue is ready to sue for assault and battery.
