A Note on This Beer
In Portland, Oregon, the saying is “Keep Portland Weird.”
When the popular PNW brewers at Ecliptic called up their buddies across the way at Von Ebert to make a beer together, they wanted to make more than just a delicious brew — they wanted something off the beaten path! The timing was just right, too; Von Ebert received the 2020 Innovator of the Year award from the Oregon Brewers Guild!
This latest cosmic collaboration is an innovation in itself, taking Norwegian Kveik yeast-fermented ale and combining it with fresh blueberries and real meyer lemons. The result is a lush, deep red pour with a citrusy, refreshing aroma.
On every sip, the Cascade, Columbus, Mandarina Bavaria, and Strata Hops highlight the fruity, tropical flavors before the meyer lemon returns for just a touch of pucker at the finish.
With a swirl of refreshing fruits and delicious hop blends, this brew has folks clamoring for the Oregonian collab: @Michael P. says “Von Ebert collabs don’t disappoint[…] and this is super crushable!”
Portland may be as weird as ever, but this collaborative craft brew makes perfect sense. Tavour members try some of the first of this refreshing new addition to the Cosmic Collaborations series!
