About This Beer
To make it, they teamed up with their pals at Eighth State and bourbon barrel aged a rich Barleywine base. Then they conditioned it on house-toasted hazelnuts, methodical coffee, and vanilla.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t got a chance to taste it yet, but we’re looking forward to rich notes of caramel-drizzled dates and espresso bolstered by intricate nutty undertones. And coming from the masters at FF, we expect those bourbon barrels to impart complex oaky vanilla and whiskey nuances to the finish.

The worst barleywine that I have ever had. Disgusting! Even smelled horribly after I removed the cap.

Something they do with their barleywines is just weird. They all have this off-putting sourness to them. It mellows over some significant time but they need to rethink

A good strong taste to give a nice quick buzz. Good for drinkers who like strength in their beer.
