Today’s beer is not only limited, it marks a fruity milestone: this is the first time they’ve made a fruited Sour with 100% blueberries!  Blue Waves shows their expertise, capturing the full power of berries framed by vinousness of by oak foudres and carefully selected pineapple notes of Drie wild yeast.

After absorbing the flavor and color of blueberries over two months of aging, this brew shows off the bright purple blue hue you’ll find on your fingers if you go blueberry picking.  It’s aromas capture the full range of blueberry flavors - from tart cranberry notes to peppery basil to jammy rhubarb. Sipping reveals a tart, sangria-like imprint of oak and the pineapple notes of a wild Brett Drie strain.  While it’s assertively sour, it never overwhelms the fresh berries at the core.
