Today’s beer is only the 2nd Chocolate Banana Stout we’ve seen in our five-year existence, and it’s the first to ever include blueberries!

And let’s just say, the last one we had was so delicious, I may have lost track of how many glasses I had. It may have had a double-digit ABV much like today’s. And I may have woken up face-down in the monkey exhibit at the zoo, covered in chocolate stains, and with a devilish grin plastered from ear-to- ear. 

Even though I’m not trying to relive that night, I have been craving those fudgy nanner flavors ever since. And with the addition of blueberries, today’s beer combines my two favorite fruits to  dip in chocolate. 

Thank god for Hubbard’s Cave!

This world-class brewery has a higher Untappd rating than many of the heaviest hitters in the Dark Beer game, including Holy Mountain, Tired Hands, and 3 Floyds!

In the past month, we’ve seen an absolutely killer dessert spread from Hubbard’s: French Toast, Chocolate Hazelnut, Peanut Butter Cup, and countless other indulgent blends. And they just keep churning out thick and fudgy 4.0+ rated desserts-in-cans. 

Our members continue snatching them up almost faster than we can snag 'em! 

So, if you've got a chance to score today's 12% ABV Blueberry & Banana Pot de Crème, then you’re one lucky baboon! 

It tastes like they picked a ripe banana right off the tree, carefully peeled it, and then dipped it straight into a fountain of rich, dark chocolate. And the fresh blueberries taste like they’re plucked straight from the bush and immediately tossed into the dessert mayhem. 

This thing’s got a monstrous 4.22 UT-rating and is already almost completely sold out in Chicago, the only place non-Tavour members will be able to find it. 

Take whatever precautions you need in order to keep from gulping down way too many of these cans. I asked my wife to record me and post it on Instagram if reach for more than one in a night. Let’s hope that works.
