About This Beer

If this Pastry Sour was a marvel superhero, it’d be The Thing. Because it’s totally FANTASTIC, and every time I take a sip of this ruby-hued stunner, I want to shout, “It’s cobblering time!”

Except the team at Southern Grist didn’t need cosmic radiation to make it. Instead, they loaded up a Sour base blueberry puree, vanilla beans, cinnamon, and creamy milk sugar!

Tasting Notes

The sip starts out bright and tangy, with jammy berry sweetness swirling underneath. Subtle notes of whipped cream and warming baking spice follow, expertly recreating the flavors of a crumble-topped cobbler.

good not great. tart blueberry with a spice after finish, like cinnamon and vanilla. thinner than expected for a dessert beer, especially with the lactose, but I wouldn't call that a negative.
