To craft Bolo Coconut Brown, the brewers use real coconut to encompass a creamy island vibe. And to keep things luxuriously smooth and roasty, they built the body with brown sugar, oats, and NINE different barley malts.

Translucent cola brown color. Frothy tan head. Spotty lacing. Mild toasted malt aroma. Toasted malt flavor hints at sweet cocoa and toasted coconut. A hint of nuttiness as well. All flavors are subtle, making this a very easy drinking Brown Ale. Would have liked a bit more coconut, but all in all, this is a solid offering.
