About This Beer
For the uninitiated, a Braggot is a hybrid of beer and mead crafted with bothe malts and honey. And Kyle Harrop of Horus Aged Ales took this one a step further, aging it in Madeira Mead barrels with black currants, cherries, and grapes.
Tasting Notes
Get ready for tart and jammy fruit flavors beautifully balanced by a drizzle of honey sweetness. Hints of vinous purple grape and a faint whisper of oak add depth to the brew, completely disguising the 10.2% ABV.
