About This Beer
To craft this stunner, the Lumberbeard crew started with a decadent, dark base brimming with Belgian-style spices. Then they aged it in Triticale Whiskey and Port Finish Wheat Whiskey barrels from Dry Fly Distilling.
Tasting Notes
Sumptuous nuances of chewy date and dried fig course through every thick quaff, cascading into malty currents of caramel and toffee. Vanilla oak tones melt into delicate spice, capping it off with an alluring Belgian accent. Careful though — it’s all so smooth the 15.2% ABV comes as a genuine shock!

aroma is stellar. finish epic. front to middle palate is a bit papery and stale surprisingly. grows in depth as it warms. still quite stunning.

This one was okay but not my fav. There was something in the mix that pushed the sweetness too far.
