About This Beer
The world-class Oregon crew brewed this stunner with Demerara sugar to create nuances of creme brulee and toffee. Then they aged the brew in bourbon barrels for a whole year for rich, oaky vanilla accents!
Tasting Notes
Cascades of whiskey caramel, figs, and dried plums course through every sip. Woody spice carries after, beautifully masking the 11% ABV.

This was one smooth and delicious barley wine. I tried this and two other ones and this was definitely my favorite!

A sweet barely wine with nice flavor from bourbon barrel aging and slight vanilla and dried fruit notes.

Wow! I've heard good things about pFriem in the past so when I found this I had to try it. I'm definitely not disappointed! Smooth and balanced taste with a little burn on it. Just wish I got another to have later and maybe share

A perfect example of the style. Full bodied, carmelly, and warming. These are bws I can cellar without wondering if I I should leave them there longer.

Light in body, but huge in flavor; this is a classic style barleywine.

straight down the middle, will only get better with age!

Bourbon, sweet caramel, and spice, develops into oak barrel, plum, and a flash of booze. Finish is brown sugar and dark fruit.

That aroma gives bourbon caramel sauce vibes. Figs and toffee in taste with some bourbon sneaking in mid palate. Definitely sweet but really delish!
