The Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Star series never fails to captivate the palates of craft beer drinkers. But it’s only because the base Oatmeal Stout is robust enough to compete with the boldness of barrel flavors.

Pouring charcoal black, Carafa and Chocolate malts paint a backdrop of espresso, bittersweet chocolate, with a hint of char. Flaked oats contribute to a sturdy body, smooth and full on the tongue. Roasted and char flavors are enhanced by the spicy aroma and bittering of Willamette and Magnum hops.
