This year’s release is a blend of 24, 18, 12, and 8-month old Dark Star aged in 7-12-year old Kentucky bourbon barrels. All that whiskey and wood character accentuates bold chocolate malts, and it’s all wrapped in a silky-smooth body thanks to a liberal dose of oats in the mash.
