About This Beer
The Ecliptic crew crafted this American-style beer with loads of Columbus, Chinook, and Simcoe Hops for boldly resinous notes blending and contrasting with the caramelly malt base. The brewers then aged the Barleywine for a whole year in Freeland Spirits bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Resinous notes of spiced citrus and dark pine lead each sip. Malt carries underneath, wrapping the deep wood flavors in treacly caramel and gooey dates, while oaky char and vanilla whiskey from the barrel give it all the flavor of an old fashioned cocktail.

It's Oakey, sharp/harsh, got the rye in it, very strong and has a lot of bourbon flavor in it. It's just a violent beer.
