About This Beer
The intrepid crew at Magnify — one of Hop Culture’s Best Breweries in NJ — started by crafting a burly Russian Imperial Stout. Then they aged it in Willett bourbon barrels for seven months, imparting oaky vanilla and whiskey spice.
Tasting Notes
Don’t let its back-to-basics process fool you — this RIS isn’t roughing it. Each smooth taste is pure luxury. Like a bourbon-filled truffle, it balances sophisticated nuances of caramel with whispers of dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, and cherry. The barest hint of oaky tannins rounds out the kiss of bourbon in the finish.
