A Note on This Beer
The rare times I don’t order craft beer with brunch, I go for a few bright and refreshing spritzers.
But today, I found the best of both worlds! Braxton Brewing has a brand new, small-batch Blood Orange Gose that tastes just like a sparkling bellini — champagne, a splash of fresh-squeezed OJ, and a lightly salted rim!
They summoned the OJ goodness by packing more than 28 lbs of Blood Orange puree into each barrel — then, they added salt and coriander to amp up the flavor!
Here’s the thing though: Braxton only made 15 barrels of this brew, and it’s gonna go fast. Last time we shared one of their fruited Goses, you sourheads snatched up all the cans almost as fast as it took to puree the fruit!
So, nab a few cans quick! If you aren’t planning to drive to Kentucky RIGHT NOW, this may be your only chance to try this blood orange delight!
