A Note on This Beer
Fruit punch wasn’t always the go-to beverage for block parties and high school dances.
It actually originated in India! In fact, the word “punch” might be borrowed from the Hindi word for “five,” because it traditionally consisted of five ingredients — a mix of alcohol, sugar, water, citrus fruit juice, and spices.
I’m sure it was tasty, but there’s no way it’s as good as this Fruit Punch Smoothie Sour from Braxton Brewing!
Braxton’s Smoothie Sours have a cult following down in Kentucky, with fans lining up for new releases at the brewery. The only place to get them is straight from the source. And, this one is already completely sold out at the taproom!
The fruit juice specialists at Braxton brewed their Fruit Punch with a mouth-watering combination of sweet cherries, fuzzy peaches, and tangy blood oranges. Every gulp is delightfully plump with real fruit flavor and thirst-quenching brightness — it tastes like a thick and heavenly hawaiian fruit punch.
Silky waves of dark cherry zing meld with tart citrus and nectarous stone fruit to make this Smoothie Sour endlessly sippable. And, with an easygoing 4.8% ABV, the sippin’ really doesn’t have to end!
I tell ya, I wish they served punch like this at my neighborhood block parties. I might actually enjoy making small talk with the Jacobsens down the road, for once.
