A Note on This Beer
Cinderlands’ name is a respectful nod to the gritty, and previously smoky, ingenuity of its hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. It’s a scrappy city built on bold ambition and hustle. Cinderlands Brewing Co. does the city proud by creating some amazingly industrious drafts.
This crew poured all their hometown pride into today’s Belgian Quadrupel, Brick Top. Opening with powerfully robust flavors of freshly roasted coffee, dried fruit, and brown sugar, this Belgian booms with boldness right from the start.
Notes of tamarind, tangerine, ginger, carob, and chicory follow, imparting multitudes of palate-teasing complexity. To finish, each taste is rounded out with a rich maltiness and dry finish. Even Steel City industry giants Carnegie and Mellon would tip their top hats to this fearlessly delicious ale!
Those who’ve already had a taste of the mighty Brick Top are impressed. @Kyle H. says, “Really good. Great coffee flavor,” and @Keith O. hits it home: “This is the best Belgian I’ve ever had.”
USA Today named Cinderlands one of the Top 10 Breweries in the Country last year, so a draft they brew up is not one to miss! But, don’t worry if you’re not heading to the ‘Burgh anytime soon — we’ve got you covered!
