About This Beer
To make this delightfully easy drinking brew, they started with a mixed culture Farmhouse Ale, and added carefully considered amounts of rosemary, lavender, and spearmint — just enough to accentuate the wild flavors of the base beer without overwhelming it. Then they allowed the brew to referment with fresh, hand processed watermelon.
Tasting Notes
Opening this bottle is like stepping into a verdant garden on a bright summer day. You’ll be surrounded by bright, herbaceous aromas of mint and fresh flowers, with touches of cut grass, turned earth, and leafy greens.
Take a sip, and beautifully balanced notes of melon and wildflowers cascade across the taste buds, in a crisp, refreshing body with just a tiny bit of tangy lemon zest. It’s like the brewers encapsulated an entire farm and somehow squeezed it into the bottle.
