A Note on This Beer
Named one of the Hottest in Craft Beer by USA Today’s IndyStar, Taxman cools us down with a decadent wine and berry powered sparkler: Cache Flow Raspberry Sour Ale.
To create this raspberry champagne-like spritzer, Taxman uses real raspberry juice and ages it in California Pinot Noir and Zinfandel barrels for 12 months. Then the brewery limits its release to their Indiana taproom where those lucky enough to drink it are downright elated:
- @Blake M. on UT spouted: “Tart! Razzle beeries come and keep the sour flowing.”
- And @Dan H. straight up lost his mind: “Errrrrrrmehhhhhgerrrrrrdddd...Nice and dry. Tart. You need this sour in your life.”
Smelling of sun-soaked raspberries, Cache Flow drinks like a smooth raspberry compote sliding down your palate. The Sour Ale blend cleverly harmonizes various flavors of tart, bright berries and wine-soaked oak tannins. The rose-tinted pour and lemon zest zip tease you into taking just one more sip.
With Cache Flow, Taxman goes California wine-country cool -- everything from this beer’s label, to its wine-like flavor, to the complicated aging process is downright sophisticated. Surprise your friends with this beautiful Sour Ale from the most badass ex-accountants in craft beer.
