About This Beer
To craft this coffee lover’s dream, the celebrated Chicago brewers at Revolution started with a rich, chocolatey Oatmeal Stout. Then they layered it with loads of locally-roasted beans from the Windy City’s own Dark Matter Coffee before letting it all mingle for a year in bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Every liquid velvet pour emits sumptuous espresso aromas. Decadent depths of oaky vanilla, dark chocolate, and whiskey caramel cascade into roasty mocha with each quaff for a gorgeously balanced brew.

It was an okay stout, but didn’t taste at all of coffee and was too sweet

Lovely old barrel aroma and medium roasted malt and oatmeal taste in the Deth series. Fresh roasted Chicagoland coffee beans work well with the base stout and barrel flavors.
