About This Beer
Gabe Fletcher and his Alaskan crew started with a thick, rich, 16% ABV base, then aged it for 29 months in Willet Rye and Russel’s Reserve Rye barrels. Then they conditioned the beer on Nicaraguan coffee beans from their friends at Goldie’s Roasters, and finished it off with a dose of West Papua vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Expect boldly fudgy flavors, hints of oaky vanilla, and (of course) roasty espresso notes. Whiskey caramel and a touch of peppery rye should come through on the finish.
