About This Beer
The award-winning crew at Martin House aged their s'mores-inspired Stout for over four months in whiskey barrels. That time spent luxuriating in the dark-as-night depths lent a boozy spice to the decadent additions of chocolate, marshmallow, graham cracker, and vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Just one silky-smooth sip, and your taste buds will be singing "Kumbaya!" Rich cocoa and mellow vanilla lead the charge, engulfing crumbles of golden cracker with a gooey essence. Barrel char accentuates the smoked malts, providing a freshly toasted kiss to the bourbon finish.

heavy whiskey taste but in a good way and chocolatey. Like I was eating a melted s'mores

Smoky, coffee-like start with a smooth, chocolatey finish. 5/5 recommend.

Totally a dessert, but not an overwhelming sweet. I really liked this one! You can smell the whiskey. Didn’t really taste marshmallows, but def chocolate and vanilla.

A nicely balanced stout with hints of dark chocolate and creamy marshmallow tones in the flavor. Not too sweet or dry with each sip, just a bit of cling on the tongue.

Pretty nice flavor combination with barrel that keeps the sweetness to a minimum. A tad thin, but very enjoyable.

A very good tasting stout, you can definitely taste the whiskey. As for the s'more flavor, it's more like hints instead of the full marshmallow and chocolaty punch. Overall it's a good beer.

This doesn't come across like a s'more beer. Tastes more like a cold hot chocolate. Slightly disappointed. is it bad? No... I'm truly giving this one benefit of the doubt.

deep heavy beer. boozy, but the chocolate, smoke, and marshmallow flavors are clearly present. seems like it would be best on a cold or rainy day

Amazing! Caramelized marshmallow and powdered sugar on the nose. The graham cracker and marshmallow make just enough of a presence that blends perfect with the natural chocolate in the stout. The smoked malt rounds this stout up with a unique Smokey flavor

Graham cracker aroma with hints of campfire and whiskey, creamy head, slightly sweet chocolate and marshmallow tastes with dry cocoa powder, smoked malt, and vanilla notes, and a warming whiskey finish.
