A Note on This Beer
Thrillist called them “NYC’s Best Brewery.”
VinePair says they’re one of the 10 Best Breweries in America.
PorchDrinking.com puts it a little more simply: “I love KCBC.”
That’s a whole heap of praise, but it isn’t the accolades that keep Brooklyn’s craft faithful coming back to King County Brewers Collective. It’s the beer. And today, you can snag two brews in the styles that they’re most known for — a bright and fruity Sour Ale, and a silky-soft and juicy Hazy IPA.
Check ‘em out:
Cantina Hyena Fruited Sour with Mango, Passionfruit, Strawberry, and Banana — 7% ABV
Crack open this can at a BBQ, and you might find yourself suddenly surrounded by Sour scavengers. Not actual hyenas, just your thirsty buddies looking for a sip of this smoothie-thick brew.
Every drop overflows with mango and passionfruit flavors, all swimming through that thick, banana milkshake mouthfeel! Tangy strawberry shows up on the finish, riding a silken wave of creamy vanilla and lactose. It’s like taking your taste buds on a fruity safari!
Inglorious Bastoads Imperial IPA — 8% ABV
Unlike the last brew, this IPA doesn’t have any actual fruit in it. Although, that might be hard to believe once you sip its super citrusy, tropical flavors. It’s like a tangerine and a pineapple dancing a slow waltz across the tongue! And, they’re REALLY into each other.
Rest assured, the crew at KCBC squeezed all that flavor out of Citra, Nelson, Waimea, and Mosaic Hops. And, they laid it all out on a bed of wheat to give it an ultra soft body.
If you’re still sleeping on KCBC, it’s time to wake up and smell the juice! If you’re already a fan, we don’t have to tell you how good this pair-up will be.
