A Note on This Beer

Come on in and have a bite — erm, pint, of Strawberry Carolina Cobbler!

To craft today’s confectionery Fruited Berliner Weisse treat, the NC-based team packed every batch with bunches of real strawberries. Then, they added Madagascar vanilla, milk sugar, and cinnamon graham cracker crust crumbles to bring out those blissful, berry-packed baked good flavors.

Each sip overflows with creamy, lush sweetness and berry jam. It starts with a light tartness, then settles into velvety dessert flavors, like a real scoop of the southern staple.

It’s no wonder folks on Divine Barrel’s Instagram go nuts for the series! Seriously, shouts of “I want me some of THAT” and “Give me all the cobbs!” echo from the comment section of every Cobbler Series post!

Because sometimes, it’s just nice to come home and have a bit of cobbler. We’d be more than happy to share some of ours, just pull up a chair and grab a slice!

Divine Barrel won 3 Golds and got 2nd in the Best in Show at the 2019 NC Brewers Cup!

Really didn't have the sweet fruit and cobbler flavors I was expecting... mostly tasted like a slightly sour beer with hints of strawberry, a little artificial

just like some of the reviews I expected more. a bit just more or less tart and subtle strawberry, not much cobbler action I was looking for.

I don’t taste any of the flavors. Tastes like a plain Berliner Weisse Ale. I was hoping for even a hint of strawberry or something. Maybe it’s a tad sour but definitely don’t taste anything but wheat.
