About This Beer
Washington State’s Skookum crew crafted this sublime brew by blending an Old Ale aged in Heaven Hill barrels with an Imperial Oatmeal Brown Ale aged in Basil Hayden barrels. The results are truly spectacular.
Tasting Notes
Roasty, chocolatey malts lead off the sip, with rich vanilla and caramel-drizzled raisin notes swirling underneath. A kiss of oak and top-shelf bourbon comes through on the finish, rounding things out and helping mask the warming 11.8% ABV.
