About This Beer
Ferndale Project took inspiration from a true classic for this one — cherry pie!
Tasting Notes
Sweet-tart swigs overflow with brilliant cherry pie nuances thanks to a subtly biscuity Sour Ale base conditioned on bushels of tart cherries. And because the team also swirled in a ribbon of milk sugar and plenty of vanilla, it tastes as though that fresh dessert slice comes with a scoop of ice cream on top.

A delicious rendition on cherry pie that is tangy but leveled out with a vanilla dollop of whip cream and crispy crust flavors on the back end.

Good at first. Not something you want 16 oz of. Cherry was pretty much the only flavor you get with sour ale. Not bad but not really good either. If you’re really into sours, you might like it. The cherry pie is not really what I get out of this though.
