A Note on This Beer

Imagine taking a bite of warm pecan pie, then scooping a massive spoonful of chocolate ice cream into your mouth — that’s how this WeldWerks Pastry Stout tastes!

The GABF Gold Medal-winning crew absolutely drenched this decadent Dark Beer in oodles of sweet milk chocolate. Then, they tossed in some roasted pecans alongside a splash of creamy milk sugar and just a dash of salt.

Add all that to the rich malt base, and each sumptuous sip is plush with nutty vanilla and salted caramel flavors. It’s like having a mouthful of melty, chocolate-covered pecan pie fresh out of the oven!

Trust me, you’re not the only one drooling right now. Colorado locals are gushing over Chocolate Pecan Pie Stout, too:

  • “Loooooooooveeeee the chocolate on this! It's awesome. Silky smooth.” @Anthony M.
  • “Holy crap this is amazing!” @Steve S.
  • “What a treat! WeldWerks is absolutely unparalleled.” @Justin T.

One thing’s for sure, WeldWerks sure knows their way around a Pastry Stout. We’ve only got 30 cases of Chocolate Pecan Pie to go around though, so you’ve gotta grab a slice for yourself quickly before it’s all gone!

Super smooth with heavy pecan and chocolate notes. Very rich. Great for dessert. Easy to split between two people.

It is definitely interesting. As soon as you tilt the glass up you get a hefty smell of the roasted pecan. For me it is on the sweet side and almost overpowering when it was too cold. Letting it warm a bit definitely lessens the sweetness. Has a slight back of the tongue bitterness to it. For me the lower rating is the heavy sweetness. For others it might elevate it.

Wow! This is amazing! Thick and rich. It’s sweet but that’s what a pastry stout should be. Yum!
