When’s the best time to plan a “Treat Yourself” day? Right now!

Especially since Untitled Art just released a Chocolate Raspberry Imperial Stout — I can’t think of a better occasion to enjoy this luxurious creation!

The brewers added a ridiculous amount of raspberry purée during the final stage of brewing. The result is a Stout that tastes uncannily like a box of raspberry-filled truffles. A dollop of milk sugar infuses even more silky goodness into this rich sipper. It goes down so smooth, you may not even notice the boozy 11% ABV until you get to the bottom of the can!

One Untappd reviewer calls it “the best fruit Stout I’ve ever had.” On the brewery’s social media, another dessert lover declares, “I need this! I don’t care what it takes to find this I need it!”

I’m definitely going to build up my stash of this brew before these rabid Stout fans scoop it all up! And, I’ll be getting enough for a whole Treat Yourself week.

The initial sip is overwhelming bitter (like burnt grains), but is softened as you drink. It eventually turns into a nice and very dark chocolate taste and aroma, close to cocoa nibs. The raspberry is wonderfully tart and fresh in this beer. This is a very nice stout. Easy to drink for the ABV.

12oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, flat. Aroma walks a fine line between berries and chocolate. Raspberry takes over in the taste, still enough chocolate to pretend you're actually eating chocolate covered raspberries. Really amazing dessert stout.

I’ve had a raspberry/chocolate imperial stout before from Ft George that was amazing! This one fell a little flat for me, too tart and not enough chocolate or body. It felt oddly like a stout and a simple kettle sour had a baby.
