About This Beer
The legends at Fremont crafted this confection by blending Strong Ales barrel-aged 9, 12, and 24 months in 8 to 12-year-old bourbon barrels. Bright cinnamon complements the opulent spiced oak nuances, while toasted coconut softens it all with tropical cream. A year in the cellar has made it even more supple for a decadent dessert of a brew.
Tasting Notes
Every pour broadcasts aromas of silky coconut and bright pastry spices from the moment you pop the top. Take a swig, and you’ll find yourself lost in layers of baker’s chocolate, sweet brown sugar, and hints of vanilla. Every mouthful tastes like biting into a fudge-drizzled, cinnamon-sprinkled coconut macaroon!

As usual another awesome beer from Fremont. Love the Coconut, the Cinnamon wasn’t too heavy and the beer is very smooth. Can’t wait to drink the other one in my refrigerator

Really good. I had to buy 4 more. Nice and thick. It’s not bitter like most coffee stouts. Very smooth with a nice roasted nutty taste with a pinch of cinnamon. Definitely notes of chocolate in there.

Personally, I like cinnamon/coffee and coconut iterations much better. These flavors didn't really work together. Cinnamon seems to have muted the coconut.

Really enjoyed this one. Thinner than I was expecting but flavor is spot on, barrel, cinnamon, and coconut on the finish. Cinnamon isn’t too overpowering at all. A solid pour.

Nose: great cup of coffee sprinkled with cinnamon and coconut. Taste: molasses, brown sugar, almond, coconut jumps out (in a good way), medium-roast coffee, cinnamon, complimentary bourbon (if you look for it it is there but does not jump out). Wauw!
