About This Beer
To craft this sweet stunner, the Lone Star legends started with a malty Golden Ale base brimming in nuances of toasted pastry and hinted with hops. Next, they aged it on Amburana wood, soaking the base in woody notes of baking spice and vanilla. Then the crew finished it on caramel and cinnamon to accentuate the Amburana.
Tasting Notes
Complex currents of caramel-coated churro, toasted nut, and treacly molasses nuance course through every silky quaff. Brown sugar tones mingle with rich oak tones before a crisp finish. All that golden decadence absolutely hides the 9% ABV.

Enjoyable cinnamon and spice flavors in this Golden Ale. The 9% does have a nice kick to it without overpowering the taste.

Anticipating a girlie drink, I was taken by the woody and spicy complexity of the brew. It retained its milky amber head nicely as well as its robust nature. Not overly sweet with a mild bitterness for balance.

Aroma reminds me of caramels that my sister-in-law makes at XMas. Cinnamon in taste w/baking spices, caramel, & oak. Mild bitterness on back end.
