About This Beer

I’m never inviting the Kool-Aid Man over for dinner again.

Not only did he ravage every wall in my house, but he cursed in front of my children and drank all my Civility Manners Decorum. Thankfully, the crew at Turning Point has me covered.

The Texas craft crew isn’t going to patch all the giant, pitcher-shaped holes in my house, but they did whip up another batch of their Fruited Gose brewed with a liberal dusting of tropical fruit punch drink powder!

Tasting Notes

The resulting concoction sparkles with all the nostalgic, fruity sweetness of that bright red childhood drink — without their drunken, sailor-mouthed mascot wreaking havoc on your property value!

Every sip is bursting with flavors of ripe strawberries, sweet cherries, tangy tangerines, pineapple juice, and guava nectar. It’s insanely crushable too, with a nice little sour kiss cut by its well-subdued minerality.

I’m torn on this: It tastes just like Kool-Aid. That’s got both good and bad aspects. Fruity and fun? Check. Sugary and synthetic? Also check. For a gose, it’s not terribly tart, and saltiness is hard to taste. My final verdict? One is nice. But JUST one.

Yes, I drank the Kool-Aid. It was somewhat salty/savory, yet 100% Kool Aid flavored. I know the salty part sounds weird, but in reality it was very unique and delicious, and the part that made this brew shine. Would buy entire line of various Kool-aid flavors if available, especially grape! Sooooo good. Thank you
