According to the fruit-forward brewers at Humble Forger, today’s brand new Coastal Sunset V. 1 “takes inspiration from our grandma’s Ambrosia salad.”

If you’ve never heard of such a thing, it’s essentially a giant bowl of fresh fruit, doused in globs of vanilla cream and marshmallows! I’m not sure I’d call it a “salad” — more like a “super awesome, ultra-fruity dessert.” 

This beer is EXACTLY that! The brewers stuff it to the brim with real pineapples, tangerines, cherries, coconut, marshmallows, walnuts, and vanilla beans for oodles of juicy flavor, balanced by silky waves of cream. The walnuts provide a bit of earthy-nuttiness, smoothing out the fruity sweetness.

And, underneath all that Ambrosia-like deliciousness swims a discreet 6% ABV. It’s just the can of boozy-dessert to treat yourself with after a long day’s work! 

For some, Coastal Sunshine might bring about nostalgic memories of their own Grandma’s Ambrosia salad. For others who haven’t had the pleasure of tasting one, don’t worry! This beer certainly does the dessert justice.
