A Note on This Beer
Wisconsin isn’t exactly renowned as a beach vacation destination, but what it lacks in actual oceanfront, it more than makes up for with Coastal Sunshine (Fly Fishing) Fruited Sour.
Humble Forager packed this tart brew with massive amounts of tangy tangerine, drippy mango, tropical passionfruit, and bright soursop fruit. It tastes like a freshly blended smoothie from a beachside cabana!
If you’ve never had a soursop, just imagine a blend of strawberry and pineapple — yum!
One sip of this brew, and you can practically feel those sea breezes and hear the rustling palms.
Leave it to the Humble Forager to transport the tropics to the Midwest. This crew started as Forager Brewing in Minnesota, but fans loved them so much that they couldn’t even begin to meet demand. So, they teamed up with Wisconsin’s Octopi Brewery to scale up their recipes!
They started releasing new brews earlier this year, and it’s still not enough — outside of those 2 states, you won’t find a drop of this sunshine-in-a-can anywhere! Except for right here, of course, because we managed to smuggle out a tiny stash for the rest of the country.
With a few cans of Coastal Sunshine, you can turn any trip to the beach — or the lake, or your front porch — into a miniature tropical vacation.
Humble Forager is just 6 months old and has already earned praise from PorchDrinking and Growler Mag!
