About This Beer
To craft this showstopper, the Chicago dark beer masters started with a rich base aged in bourbon barrels, imbuing the brew with silky vanilla oak tones. Then they amped up the custard notes with hand-split vanilla beans before accenting it all with Mexican cacao nibs from Sleep Walk Chocolateria by Dark Matter Coffee.
Tasting Notes
Let it warm and you’ll get sumptuous mocha tones cascading into notes of crème brûlée and hints of whiskey caramel. Waves of fudgy flavor fold into measured roastiness and barrel char for a balanced sip that completely hides its 13.3% ABV.
