A Note on This Beer
It’s a cutthroat craft beer world out there. Especially when it comes to Fremont Brewing’s B-Bomb. On release day, hysteria radiates through the craft beer stratosphere. Locals and out-of-towners beeline for the Seattle taproom in hopes of landing a bottle or two of this thick, rich, bourbon-soaked sipper.
No easy feat! B-Bomb is so coveted, Fremont is forced to limit it to only 4 bottles per person.
For those turned away empty-handed, it means digging through their cellars for Hunahpu, vintage BCBS, or any whales worthy to trade for it.
Anything to get their hands on this 14% ABV Bourbon Barrel-Aged winter seasonal with a cabinet full of awards, ranked the #4 Strong Ale in the World on BA.
It’s no surprise everyone goes a little coo-coo for this beer — snagging B-Bomb means you can experience the excited energy of release day when you share a bottle with your most deserving Dark Beer buds.
B-Bomb is aged in 12-year-old American Oak Bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel-strength Winter Ales. Experience how masterful barrel-aging develops as you breathe in aromas of woody vanilla caramel. Indulge and you’ll taste sweet Bourbon, oak, dark cacao, dried figs, new leather, and roasty dark coffee.
Fans have told us they’d clone themselves five times over just to bypass the bottle limit and get their gloves extra B-Bombs this year. Just imagine the possibilities!
