About This Beer
Toasted coconut adds silky richness to the 2017 B-Bomb base — crafted by blending Strong Ales barrel-aged 9, 12, and 24 months in 8 to 12-year-old bourbon barrels. Time in Fremont’s carefully controlled cellar has added immeasurable depth and hidden the bold 13% ABV behind a velvety sip.
Tasting Notes
Opulent coconut mocha aromas perfume the air with every pour of this mythical brew. The fudgy quaff is like savoring a bite of a dark chocolate truffle filled with coconut cream and bourbon caramel.

Did a blind taste test with numerous (10+) world class ba stouts ranked in the all time best stouts in the world rankings and this was the unanimous winner of the night. It beat out ba stouts that go for over $500 in the secondary market. It could be the perfect ba dark beer. Very imperial stout like. Easily earns 5 ranking from me.

Wet cardboard, sherry and some bourbon notes but the former dominate the aroma. This feels past its prime: malt elements are very muted with oxidative tones overshadowing but a nice coconut wisp come in the finish assisted by alcohol
