A Note on This Beer
Google would have you believe that the world’s largest raspberry is a 22-foot tall steel sculpture in Minnesota. That is incorrect.
The actual world’s largest raspberry comes courtesy of Nashville’s Southern Grist Brewing — they call it Colossal Raspberry Hill.
Granted, it might not be as big according to a measuring tape, but if you let your taste buds judge, this bold brew has got to be just about the biggest berry you’ll find anywhere! It’s thick, tangy, and oh-so bright, because the brewers loaded it with absurd amounts of real raspberry!
Then, they added a ribbon of creamy lactose, so it finishes rich and smooth — like plucking a berry fresh off the vine and adding a dollop of whipped cream!
Those fortunate enough to snag a taste have already rated it a towering 4.30 on Untappd, saying it “tastes like ALL OF THE RASPBERRY,” and that it’s “just simply the best!”
If you want to experience the world’s largest raspberry for yourself, skip the giant sculpture and order this brew from Tennessee. Colossal Raspberry Hill might not look as big, but if you’re measuring by flavor, it’s not even a contest.
