About This Beer
To craft it, this Perennial and Phase Three started with a thick Imperial Stout base brewed with heaping helpings of wheat. Then they let it mature in freshly dumped Old Fitzgerald wheated bourbon barrels for 17 months before introducing decadent additions of coconut, cinnamon, and equal parts Comoros and Vanuatu vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Splashes of baking spice and coconut cream course through the sip, conjuring the flavors of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Underneath, ribbons of crème brûlée weave through roasty malts, leading to a warming finish with accents of oaky vanilla and bourbon. And it’s all hiding a 14% ABV.
