The team at Aslin let Columbia Heights mature in Four Roses and New Riff bourbon barrels for 16 months, then transferred it to Peerless Rye bourbon barrels for an additional 12 months.
Tasting Notes
All that time in oak translates to sublime layers of rye spice, whiskey-caramel, and oaky tannins. Fruit leather and toffee undertones carry from start to finish, and the 14.25% ABV goes down DANGEROUSLY smooth.
