he GABF medalists at Bottle Logic have brewed a Vietnamese coffee-inspired Stout so good I can skip the raincoat-clad trip to my local cafe! First, they took their silky base and aged it in bourbon barrels. Then they called their friends at Mostra. The 2022 United States Roaster Champions made an exclusive Vietnam Lotus coffee bean roast that the brewers added to the mix, along with chicory and condensed milk!
Tasting Notes
Expect layers of fudgy nuance to balance against toasty coffee, conjuring a mocha essence. Chicory brings a bitter bite that offsets the shimmering milk sugar and sets the stage for a final kiss of bourbon that only slightly reminds you of the 11.5% ABV.
