Angry Chair and Untitled Art 13% ABV Oreo Cookie

Hopefully I don’t sound too much like a hokey infomercial when I tell you that, at Tavour, “I’m not only the president, I’m also a member.” I drink a lot of our beer. And I can honestly say that Untitled Art is one of the most exciting breweries of the year so far.  

The reason they’re so sought after in the scene is because they’ve collaborated with what seems like every hyped brewery in the game. For me, that means getting to taste many of the breweries on my wishlist before we manage to team up with them. 

Other Half, J. Wakefield, Aslin, Equilibrium, Weldwerks, Mikerphone, Barrel Theory, Pulpit — the list of heavy-hitters goes on and on! And for the majority of these breweries, Untitled Art is the only way that I get the opportunity to taste their work. 

Needless to say, I’m super impressed by Untitled Art’s beers. But the sweet-tooth in me can say that I’ve never been as stoked about one of their collabs as I am about today’s Cookies and Cream Imperial Stout they made with Angry Chair. 

Angry Chair is arguably one of the biggest names in Pastry Stouts and maybe the most exciting thing to come out of Tampa, Florida since Disney World. 

Their dark delights don’t leave the state and demand ridiculously large trade value. I should know, I recently attempted to trade for one in a forum and was told it would take 3 Fremont’s most highly-rated Dark Beers just to get one Angry Chair in return. 

And, the last time Untitled Art and Angry Chair teamed up, they created one of the Top 10 Pastry Stouts in the World on Untappd!

All hype aside, today’s beer has a hellishly boozy 13% ABV that is completely hidden under a thick milkshake Stout body made with real Oreo Cookies — think Baskin-Robbins cookies & cream ice cream — my mouth is watering just writing about it. Ben & Jerry’s ain’t got nothing on Cookies and Cream Stout.
