About This Beer
The Riverlands crew hopped this West Coast crispy boi with Citra, Mosaic, Strata, and the rarely-seen Sterling Hops for effervescent sips with a sublime depth of flavor.
Tasting Notes
Notes of bright citrus ripple over a bready backbone. A kiss of strawberry lemonade shines underneath, leading to a balancing pine resin character on the back end. And thanks to a cracker-crisp mouthfeel and approachable ABV, you can crush can after can and still feel ready to do battle with Shredder. Or at least finish mowing the lawn.

Thick foamy head, with the consistency of seafoam. Great head retention and beautiful lacing, lingering on top like an ice cream float. Pours a beautiful golden orange color. Cloudier than a pilsner but not quite hazy, more akin to a pale ale. Tropical scent, mango and citrus. Spicy, pithy in flavor, notes of grapefruit, hints of dankness. I’m still a bit skeptical of “West Coast pilsners” as a new or distinct style, but this is possibly the best West Coast hopped lager I’ve encountered.
