Disclaimer: Today’s Crazy Rays IPA from Anchorage Brewing is so juicy and dank, so crushably smooth, and so refreshingly crisp that it might actually cause you to go a little crazy.

We let one of our writers taste it, and now he’s in the grip of some kind of hop-induced mania. That, or he’s channeling the ghost of Dr. Seuss. We asked him to write a description of the beer, and this is what he gave us.

Yes I want some Crazy Rays! I’ll drink it up and down for days.

No matter where I goes or stays, I need my cans of Crazy Rays.

What kind of beer is Crazy Rays? It’s fresh Alaskan IPAs!

It’s super dank, with juicy haze, this tasty brew can go both ways!

It’s 4.32 BA-rated, try some and you’ll be elated,

By this brew that Gabe created,

Up at Anchorage Brewing Co. (which Paste and Thrillist call “Must Go!”)

It’s packed with Simcoe also Citra, grapefruit flavors gonna getcha!

Mosaic adds some berries-blue and Galaxy means peach comes through.

Grab a can, or maybe two, call some buds, they’ll come to you!

They’ll chug one down and want another,

Hope you have enough to cover, all your pals and all their brothers.

They might even bring their mother!

But keep some for your very own, and drink it down while you're alone,

Cuz once it’s gone there is no more, unless you trek the northern shore.

Of course, that’s not what you must do,
