A Note on This Beer
In Seattle, Reuben's Brews’ Crikey IPA is rooted in our hoppy landscape. We drink it on tap across the city, in concert venues, bars, and even at bowling alleys. We keep going back to this piney, citrus-soaked, bitter hopbomb is so layered with acclaim, we’ve gotta break it down:
This IPA is killing it at the beer competitions. We’re talking about winning at the Best of Craft Beer Awards, US Beer Tasting Championships, WA Beer Awards, and the Euro Beer Star.
Fans rank it a 4.05 on BeerAdvocate, with the Beer Bros calling it “your benchmark Pacific Northwest IPA.”
It earned a 94 from Draft Mag who say it’s “home for hop lovers.”
Plus, the unabashed hoppiness of Crikey enraptures us every time we take a sip. Bright citrus aromas lure you in for a carnival ride through juicy grapefruit, guava, and honeydew melon. Pine resin washes over the fruity body with punctuated bitterness and hints of peppercorn. It’s big and bold and fruity and dank and we never tire of guzzling it by the pitcher-full.
As Seattle hopheads, we know a stellar West Coast IPA when we taste one -- we also know we’ve gotta share Reuben’s bounty with anyone who’ll appreciate it like we do. And we’re pretty sure that’s you.
