A Note on This Beer
“A falling knife has no handle.” Basically, don’t try to grab a knife that’s falling, ‘cause it’d take super ninja skills to safely snag it from the air.
Try telling that to the folks at Falling Knife Brewing – they’re totally willing to take some risks and push boundaries with their luscious Fruited Sours!
Which figures, because brewer Robbie Denaway honed his brewing ninja skills at the world-renowned Surly and Fair State. He’s helped Falling Knife earn a coveted spot as City Pages’ Best New Brewery of 2020!
Their highly-limited creations – like today’s pink guava, pineapple, and passionfruit-packed Cumulonimbus – don’t typically stray beyond city limits because of the intense local demand.
This Fruited Kettle Sour flaunts Falling Knife’s daring expertise in all its juicy-tangy glory. Prepare for a big, bright burst of pineapple right upfront that mellows swiftly into sweet passionfruit and succulent, melon-like pink guava. It’s all punctuated with natural citrus tartness from the Sour Ale base.
It tastes like a scoop of tropical fruit gelato!
And it goes without saying: this is one Falling Knife worth reaching for.
*This label comes in four different designs, so yours may look a little different from the picture here. Look closely though, and you’ll find a cool sticker you can peel off and stick wherever you need a pop of color!
