Cycle’s Doug Dozark went from a Starbucks dessert coffee slinger to a Cigar City intern, to the founder and head brewer at one of the most sought-after Pastry Stout makers in craft!
He took the same innovative mindset he developed at Cigar City with him when he launched Cycle Brewing. Six years later, his brewery rocks an outstanding 4.22 rating on Untappd — it places them among the top 100 breweries in the world!
Today’s Cuvée - Just Cinnamon (2020) Imperial Pastry Stout is particularly admired by cinnamon fans.
The brewery dials in the sweet spice and amplifies it by adding the cinnamon to a rich base beer they aged for 18-20 months in top-shelf Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels.
The result is smoother than silk, fudgier than devils food cake, and thicker than a snickerdoodle milkshake.
