About This Beer
The Festival of Barrel-Aged Brews gold medalists at Garagiste Meadery crafted a base of organic polyflora honey and orange blossom honey and stuffed it with black currants, black plums, and blueberries. Then they aged the Melomel on toasted oak, sugar maple, and amburana staves for additional complexity.
But the crew didn’t come up with the fruity elixir all on their own — they collaborated with members of their bottle club on the concept! And everyone agrees, “The members chose well!”
Tasting Notes
Leaning into a garnet-colored glass of CYPM will fill your senses with lush jammy aromas graced by a hint of crème brûlée. Take a taste, and the full bodied Mead will bathe your palate in the bright floral bursts of dark berries and stone fruit. The sweet and tangy nectar bounces from fresh to pie filling and back again before finishing with a flourish of woody vanilla.
