A Note on This Beer
Requests for Pilsners pour in ALL THE TIME and it’s one of our favorite beers to drink. But we haven’t featured one since August (and we feature beersevery day!) So what’s the deal? The deal is Pilsners are tremendously hard to make so finding a good one is like finding a killer parking space - when it happens, you want to camp out and never leave. Well guys - let’s just say today’s beer is a damn tasty parking space!
Buoy Beer Company’s Czech Pils boasts a Gold medal from the Best Of Craft Beer Awards and has the distinction of Best Newly Bottled Beer in New School Beer. Brewed for decades when the founder was a home brewer, its citrus bready notes became a runaway local hit when Buoy opened their doors in 2014. And it’s that impressive history that helped put Buoy Beer on our radar.
Saaz Hops infuse this brew with a bright, spicy personality. But its Lager backbone just begs for you to drink it down like you’ve been parched for days and this grassy, herbal, super crisp elixir is your first sip of water.
Being overrun with craft beer options is a phenomenal problem to have. But even with so many choices, fans constantly tell us that it’s hard to find a beer they can drink the livelong day without getting bored. Buoy’s Czech Pils’s engaging contrast of lightness and complexity has the stuff to keep you entertained. All you gotta do is keep refilling your glass.
