Say hello to BlackStack’s thirst-quenching new Hazy IPA, DDH 755: Nelson! It’s the newest in their DDH 755 series, and the first to showcase Nelson Sauvin Hops.

To craft this juicebomb, they dry hopped twice with hand-selected Azacca, Amarillo, and Citra cones. Then they hopped it a third time with piles of New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin.

Crack the tab, and you’ll be greeted by aromas of succulent pineapples and ripe melons. Take a sip, and its sweet, juicy body washes over your taste buds, finishing smooth and easy.

BlackStack never repeats a beer in this series, so now could be your only chance to try this thunder from down under! Grab a few cans for your next brewshare, and taste that “spunky, effervescent’’ triple dry-hopped flavor!

This is probably the best crushable TIPA I’ve had! It has a great smooth, pillow-y soft, body with a nice mild heft to it and a super tasty subtle tropical and hoppy flavor with a nice hint of fruity sweetness to it and a good funky and sharp finish.

Tastes like drinking juice... like it would be ther perfect brunch beer. My husband said it’s the most non tasting alcohol beer he’s ever tasted (in a good way!) Super delicious! Tropical... just YUM!!!

Like the ABV. Didn’t care about how close it was to OJ. Was hoping for more hoppiness. I would get it again but not my first/top choice. Looking forward to trying others from the brewery.

Beautiful color and bouquet, definitely can tell citra hops. Has a zing at the end I can't put my finger on. A unique flavor!

Didn’t receive this beer in my shipment, instead received DDH 755 Nelson from same brewery. I liked the beer but felt cheated because Dad’s Stoked is an Imperial IPA where as the beers received were Regular IPAs. sorry no rating.

This is not the BlackStack beer that I ordered or received. I got the DDH 775: Nelson and that is what I am reviewing. Really enjoyable ipa - smooth, full flavor, hints of melon come through in aftertaste. Delicious beer.

Lovin’ this refreshing splasher after too much salt-bomb food. **Not sure why, but my review of DDH 755: Nelson somehow is now cross-contaminated with a BlackStack Triple called Dad’s Stoked (which at 6.8% it is certainly NOT). I’d be stoked it it WAS a Triple, but…
